International Registration Based on existing United Kingdom registration, the mark has all of the privileges of a mark registered in the United Kingdom and registration dates back to the date of registration in the United Kingdom.

Independent Local Registration Local Registration dates from date of filing.

International Registration Renewal A United Kingdom registration is renewable on the same date as the registration in the United Kingdom. There is a three month grace period in the Caribbean for these renewals. May be applied for in BVI, MNI, DOM and GRA.

Local Registration Renewal These are renewable every ten years thereafter. There is no grace period for these renewals and a late fee is applicable if the renewal application is filed after the due date.

Antigua has revised its Trade Mark Act effective 17th July, 2007. As a result, the UK Registration Act has been ???. Therefore these trade marks due for renewal after this date are renewable every ten years.

Assignment Trade Marks can be assigned with or without goodwill and with or without minimum payment; i.e. USD 1.00 or GBP 1.00

Name / Address Change or Merger Required where the legal detail of the registered trade mark's beneficial owner changes.
